The City of Moncton is holding its annual Party on the Pond on February 7, 2010, at Centennial Park from 12 pm – 4 p.m. This fun-filled day provides lots of free activities for the entire family, including sleigh rides from 10 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm, skating, pick-up hockey on the Kaboom rink, sliding, and cross-country skiing.
The Moncton Wildcats will make an appearance from 12:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. Come have fun and hang out with the team members at the various activities, and take a tour of their bus!
New to the event this year is the Norampac Play Zone. Norampac has donated 200 boxes for the kids to play with, stack and build forts, as well as cardboard cut-outs for colouring. In addition, the City will be providing maple syrup candy on the snow by our own City of Moncton Sugar Bush at 12 p.m. and at 3 p.m.

Moncton célèbre la Fête sur l’étang 2010 le 7 février au parc du Centenaire
MONCTON – La ville de Moncton tiendra sa Fête sur l’étang annuel, le 7 février au parc du Centenaire, de 12 h à 16 h. Cette journée remplie de plaisir pour toute la famille offrira plusieurs activités gratuites telles que des promenades en traîneau, de 10 h à 12 h et de 13 h à 16 h, du patinage, des parties de hockey improvisées sur la patinoire Kaboom, de la glissade et du ski de fond.
Les Wildcats de Moncton seront présents de 12 h 30 jusqu’à 16 h. Venez vous amuser, profiter de la présence des membres des Wildcats aux différentes activités et visiter leur autobus!
Nouveauté cette année, la zone de jeu Norampac. La compagnie Norampac a donné 200 boîtes pour que les enfants puissent avoir du plaisir en les empilant, en faisant des forts et des constructions de toutes sortes. Des morceaux de carton ont également été donnés pour colorier.
Une autre nouveauté, la Ville offrira de la tire d’érable sur la neige à sa propre cabane à sucre, de 12 h à 15 h.

Stop by the Owens to explore an exhibition of drawings, collages and constructions by artist, Marc Bell and discover worlds filled with swiss cheese, striped socks, soda cups and waffles.
Take inspiration from Marc Bell's huge cast of characters to create one of your own or have your character feature in a mini comic book of your design.
Family Sundays are for kids and their moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles and other friends. Drop in between 2:00 and 4:00 pm for art making activities related to our exhibitions. This program is offered free of charge.

Carnaval d’amitié de Dieppe
Plusieurs activités pour tous les membres des familles sont prévues lors de l’édition 2010 du Carnaval d’amitié de Dieppe qui se déroulera du 5 au 7 février. Patinage libre, expositions, déjeuner communautaire, tournoi de quilles, glissade, promenades en traineau, danse et rallye d’observation ne sont que quelques activités qui auront lieu aux différentes installations et commerces de la Ville de Dieppe. Dieppe Friendship Carnival
Several activities are planned during the 2010 Dieppe Friendship Carnival to be held from February 5th to 7th, including events of interest for all family members. Free skating, exhibitions, a community breakfast, bowling, sliding, sleigh rides, a dance and an observation rally are but a few of the activities to be held in different locations and businesses in the City of Dieppe.
