Agent M Club

Do you want to be a Special Agent? Games, crafts and cool experiences are all on the menu every Saturday at the Moncton Museum from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Agent M club promotes informal education through fun and educational workshops. Cost is $5 per child. Go to www.moncton.ca/heritage for details.

February 6th Dinormous Dinosaur! (Ages 5-7) Run away! The dinosaurs are coming! Imagine yourself five feet away from a real, live dinosaur. What would you do? Come learn the story of these amazing creatures.

Be My Valentine (Moncton Public Library)

Children ages 3 to 6 are invited to the Moncton Public Library for Valentine stories and crafts. This program is free of charge but you must pre-register. Phone 869-6036 or visit the library at 644 Main Street. Library hours are: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 am to 9 pm.

Winterlude Carnival

Riverview's mid-winter celebration of snow and ice is back once again! Gather up your family, neighbours and friends, and join us for ten fun-filled days of winter fun! We've got sleigh rides, tobogganing, skating, Hub Cap Comedians. We even have swimming and scrapbooking, not to mention yummy breakfasts and dinners and much, much more...being held throughout Winterlude!

Dieppe Friendship Carnival/Carnaval d’amitié de Dieppe

Carnaval d’amitié de Dieppe

Plusieurs activités pour tous les membres des familles sont prévues lors de l’édition 2010 du Carnaval d’amitié de Dieppe qui se déroulera du 5 au 7 février. Patinage libre, expositions, déjeuner communautaire, tournoi de quilles, glissade, promenades en traineau, danse et rallye d’observation ne sont que quelques activités qui auront lieu aux différentes installations et commerces de la Ville de Dieppe. Dieppe Friendship Carnival

Several activities are planned during the 2010 Dieppe Friendship Carnival to be held from February 5th to 7th, including events of interest for all family members. Free skating, exhibitions, a community breakfast, bowling, sliding, sleigh rides, a dance and an observation rally are but a few of the activities to be held in different locations and businesses in the City of Dieppe. LEGO® Fair at Crystal Palace

The Crystal Palace Amusement Park will host the LEGO® fair on February 5 to 7, 2010. You are all invited to come and:

  • See the NovaLUG club members’ creations, made exclusively from LEGO® bricks
  • Attend and/or participate to the different original building contests with LEGO® bricks.
  • Attend and/or participate to the different robots competitions, made exclusively from LEGO® bricks.

You can take part in the different building contest, and you could win one of the several prizes for the most original creation. The building contests are for youth from 6 to 14 years old. There are two age groups; 6 to 9 years old, and 10 to 14 years old.
